Last December I decided to treat my oil and gas with
MMO.  Months later I start smelling gas in the oil
about 500 miles after an oil change.  I�ve changed the
oil and filter two times, just to see if it would
help.  Unfortunately it didn�t, now I�m looking for a
good place to start, but I fear the rings aren�t
sealing - this sounds like a big job, is it?
More info on my 91 syncro.  It has 64K original miles;
original engine (bought it from the original owner 3
years ago who never drove it) has the Berg 1:4 rocker
arms, Australian chip and 16" wheels.  I�ve been
getting poor mileage (I wonder why w/all that stuff)
at about 15 highway and 8- 11 mpg in San Francisco.
Any help would be great, not much in the archive.
