Hi,

Our 87 GL every so often decides to not start following a brief stop after a 20 -30 minute drive.  For instance, drive to the bank, park, run in to do a transaction, then come out and turn the key - no solenoid click, no starter whirrrrrr, but there is the sound of a fan or the fuel pump going.  So, I figure the ignition switch is OK since juice is getting somewhere.  This is very intermittant, so can't really take it to a mechanic to check out the electrical system. Especially since it will start fine after sitting for maybe 30 minutes. The starter is a few months old and this didn't happen before we put the new starter in.  Any input would be appreciated.
