Subject:Test for AFM?
From:Jay L Snyder
Date:Wed, 14 May 2003 10:26:24 -0400

After replacing my AFM a few years back, the first thing I noticed was how
I could now hold the engine rpm at whatever speed I chose. Before the
swap, there were speeds that the engine would not "sit" on. So, I am
saying a good test of your AFM would be to raise the rpms from idle to
2500 and see if you can hold it steady at random engine speeds.
