> Any one have a collection, or a web site detailing what is/was
available?

i've got a collection of the Roco vanagon models ... available
from places like
http://www.walthers.com/
click on Manufacturer's, then click on R, then way down at the
bottom, click on Roco Modellspielwaren
on about the third page, you can find model # 413 "Modern German
Army
VW Crew-Cab Pickup w/Covered Bed". this is a vanagon double-cab
pickup.

Wiking also makes small HO models. larger 1/43rd scale models are
made by Schaubak ..these used to be sold at vw dealers parts
departments. kinda hard to find the vanagons there anymore. :(

another place is http://euro-trains.com
click on the Roco logo, then on Price List .. omit any leading
zeros in the product numbers ...

and you can search on the web for those manufacturers and maybe
find lots of other folks who sell the stuff.

Revell used to sell a couple of versions of the Vanagon in large
1/24th scale kits. one was the Magnum PI van and another is the
Vanagon Camper. Revell/Germany sold a couple of other versions
... UN Vanagon and a Fire Chief Vanagon (had radios and a desk
inside). Revell/Mexico sold one as well .. it was just a sort of
non-descript everyday vanagon. :) i got those from a place in
michigan that sold a lot of car models. can't think of the name
right now ....

a list of the vanagon stuff made by Roco (the product numbers
will be the same at most any Roco seller and this list is very
likely NOT inclusive of all their models) is ...
