Chris,
I would not be inclined to refresh the grease
unless you know what is in there. It is a better
idea to pull the axel and remove all the old grease
and buy any grease that says it is formulated for cv
joints. Not all greases mix together.

Subject: type of grease for CV joints?
Looking for grease from a FLAPS (can only imagine what
a VW dealer
would want) to refresh my vans CV joints. Is there a
specific type of
grease to use?
Chris
