Need clearance specification help for 88 Vanagon Automatic!

Hi All,

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 88 Vanagon 3 speed automatic
transmission. I have found all the specifications for the clutch pack
clearances in the Bentley manual except for the 1 st gear clutch pack,
(the pack with the largest diameter friction plates). Does any one know
what this clearance is? Your help will be greatly appreciated. This is
the first time I have rebuilt a Vanagon automatic. So far it is not
difficult at all.
