10/30 is much to light of oil. 20/50 is what VW thinks your machine should be using. I like Castrol GTX Good Morning, Fred E-mail message I have a 91 Vanagon and have always used 10w 30 Mobil oil.. I have read that people are using 20w 50? What should I use? Thanks Shannon 91 Vanagon Fred
