Hello,

Would anyone out there happen to know how to remove the input shaft from the
transmission from a '82 Vanagon Diesel?

I have removed the snap ring, and have pulled the splined collar out about
an inch on the shaft, but I just can't get it to unscrew.  Any ideas???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
