Thanks everyone, but he window behind closet in my westy already has old tint stuck to it, i would be amazed if they can do this without removing that closet.....dont they have to scrub down the gummy window 1st?. Yeah I dont have AC so after hearing about all your AC westys, this should be easier than i thought. Still undecided on Mirror VS Smoke. Phil 84' Westy Tiico, 4spd, has no AC, no PS. --- Larry Chase <roadguy@ROADHAUS.COM> wrote: > Phil, > > Get a different Tint guy. > > I had my rear window done with the closet in place. > > A good shop can reach the area with a long squeegee. > > Not sure about the Mirror vs Smoke, I went with > Smoke and I'm very > happy. > > But any tint shop should be able to give you the > specs on one vs. > another. > > Good Luck, > > Larry Chase > Email: RoadGuy@RoadHaus.com > Web: www.RoadHaus.com > What: North American Road Trip > How: RoadHaus - 1990 VW Westfalia Syncro > Today: Olympic Peninsula , WA > > - - - > > > Date: Thu, 5 Jun 2003 07:40:39 -0700 > From: "Phil S." <napszeerf@YAHOO.COM> > Subject: Westy Window Tinting, installation/smoke > V.S mirror > > Hi, > I need to remove the rear closet so the Tint man can > get to that window.
