<snip> Hey Tom - How do you like travelling with three kids (and the wife :) in a Westy. My wife and I have a 91 Carat we bought last year that we love and I have been salivating over the idea of getting a Westy but was concerned about a lack of space (especially seating for travelling) with the kids. My kids are 7,6 and 3 (so in VA that's a seatbelt, a booster, and a car seat by law) Any others travelling with a brood...your comments are welcome. Thanx Joe <snip> Joe: It's all relative. Typically when we travel there are 3 adults (me, my wife, and visitor/nanny), 2 kids (4-1/2 year old in booster and 2-1/2 year old in a car seat), and 2 dogs (85 lb each). For last year's trips we packed everyone and all of our camping and hiking gear into a Subaru Forester. A very tight squeeze!! Now I have an 87 Westy with the rear facing jump seat. Positively luxurious compared to the Forester and way faster (when setting up camp that is). Kevin McLean 87 Westy Syncro Calgary, AB
