steve, i'm not sure if grocery stores are still doing this, and i'm not sure
how good it really is for the car seats.   i rented one of the industrial
carpet cleaning machines from the local supoermarket and used that on
everything in the van...  it worked very well, but i had to vacuum the left
over water/etc for about 3 hours to get it all out.

anyways... my $.02 worth.
