Its hard to give you exact numbers without knowing the amount of load your tires will support at a given amount of air pressure. Generally, the tires should be inflated to support the maximum amount of weight allowed at each wheel position. Most auto manufacturers take the GVWR numbers in the door jamb and find the amount of air pressure required to support that weight off of a load/pressure chart provided by the tire manufacturer. Those are the inflation numbers that appear in the door jamb and they are for the tires that originally came with the vehicle. Check with the manufacturer of your current tire to see if they can give you load capacity vs. inflation pressure information. ===== TJ Hannink Goldibox - 1987 Vanagon Camper, Wolfsburg Edition Winter Park, Florida http://home.earthlink.net/~tjhannink/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wolfsburg_campers http://photos.yahoo.com/tjhannink [Vanagon] Album __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
