Thanks to all who responded about my catalytic converter.  I have
decided to not try a different one.  I am just going to take the car
somewhere to have it looked at.  I spent this morning going back re-checking
things like grounds & vacuum leaks & misfires.  I can't find a thing wrong.
Maybe I should have stuck with air-cooled.  Thanks again.
