I don't have a westy, so your proposition is really expensive. It'd be cheaper to just get a spray bottle with a long hose and I could manually mist. I've noticed spraying a house down with water, cools it down. Anyway, forgot to mention that my second thermostat would be at a higher temp, for only when the radiator could use a little help, like when idling riding up a mountain in sardinized traffic on a very hot day escaping the nuclear fallout thanks to North Korea. >From: David Brodbeck <gull@gull.us> > >On Mon, 16 Jun 2003, Mark Dorm wrote: > > > having two thermostats... > > > > one as you already have, and another, where your heater valve is, and >your > > heater (front) feeding not into the interior but all exterior flow... a > > little fan placed directly along this and now on the outside, and with a > > matched fan switch, or with a water temp guage you can view, and then >turn > > on your fan manually at the dash. ... what if, what if, what if. > >Well, if you're looking for crazy cooling system supplement ideas, here's >one. > >Run a line from the Westy water tank through an inline pump to a set of >mist nozzles mounted on the grille, facing inwards.
