The key element in compensation is payment. That is, payment from the compensator to the compensated, not in the other direction. The term "churning", as used by those generous souls hawking stocks, comes to mind when I hear of the awarding of a discount on future purchases in payment for services rendered. Now, if anyone has been able to buy a bottle of Yuengling Larger with their discount, I might change my opinion. George
