Group Members: I have an '87 Weekender with a failing alternator. My mechanic (who is trustworthy & knowledgeable) has a replacement for me BUT without the "W" connector. My current alternator has this "W" connector with a light blue wire running from it up to the relay next to the aux. battery under the driver seat. Can anyone tell me what the function of this is? Many thanks, Matt Heydon
