The hydraulic lifter was never intended to be laid over on its side as it tends not to bleed out trapped air in this position. the other problem is that lifters can hold the valve open when the engine warms up and causes low manifold vacuum at ilde this might help http://www.bostonengine.com/articles/hydraulicll.htm Bob Donalds http:/www.bostonengine.com
