Could the injectors be leaking all the time?
Maybe you should run through the injector test.

I just did an engine swap, 1.9L to 1.9L, and the new to me engine is
running
real rich. Blue smelly smoke and after a slight warm up it floods
itself and
dies. I disconnected the oxygen sensor and it doesn't appear to make
any
difference with the way it runs. My questions are what should I check
for/replace. I just need some advice on where to start. I would really
like
to drive my Westy again but the way things are going it seems as though
it's
not going to happen in my life time.......................Help.
