     I am sure you can rebuild it but the cost would
exceed that great deal you get at busdepot.   if you
have AC you need a 450 watt power house and if you
mention that david and gary from the vanagon list sent
you, Larry you can get this for $130 (limited
quantities).   I must however confirm this with the
master of the electron,
the charged guru from the east, a dynamo of many
windings, david are you there???   gary
