Hi Dave and Welcome! Here is for the NO Mail Mode, you can still post if you comme here but you won't receive anything in your mailbox: ------------------------------------------------------------ Unsubscribing temporarily The Vanagon mailing list allows you to turn off the flow of messages temporarily. This is useful, for example, when going on vacation. To turn off messages temporarily, send the following message: -------------send 1 e-mail------------- To:listserv@gerry.vanagon.com Subject:(leave this blank) Body: set vanagon nomail --------------------------------------- Send the message. You should get a confirmation from the Vanagon mailing list within a few hours. Note that messages will not be saved for you while you've turned off mail, but you can review these messages from the archive. -------------------------------------------------------------- Oil is to hot at 250F, 200 to 220F would be perfect. -Check thermostat, flat (controled by that thermostat) -Do you have all the cooling tins in place -is the isolation foam in place My experience is that if your running hot at the core (oil) your running way to hot at the heads! how is the heads temp? If you only hot at the core and every cooling elements are in place, i would suspect a core (Crank, cam) problem or/and an oil pressure problem. Well, thats my advice Good luck Ben http://www3.sympatico.ca/huotx/engine1.htm
