two people recently emailed me and asked what OEM stands for:
 Original Equipment (of the) Manufacturer.  (ie, factory, or stock)

NOS  means  New Old Stock  (ie, new OEM parts that were never used, and often
are NLA (No Longer Available)

of course NOS can also refer to Nitrous Oxide System but we vanagon owners
dont care about that.. :<)
