this evening I hurriedly finished my roof rack project. Its made of tubular
aluminium (approx. 1.5" OD) and sits as a frame around the entire Westy top.
I am using it to carry a canoe (18", 100#), and I have designed it so that
the pop top can be raised with the rack in place (canoe removed of course!).

This is a prototype, taking it for a one week trip tomorrow. Will
undoubtedly modify it when I get back and also post pics.
