I don't think the hari kari thing is necessary.

However, you are condemned to contemplate your sin from the top of your
van,  through one  full cycle of the waxing and waning  of the moon,
sacrificing  at each midnight  a full can of Pilsner,  top popped with a
rusty knife, and assisted by the cat!!!!
