Hello all, I've got a dead engine in my '87 Vanagon. The only replacement
engine my
mechanic can find is a rebuilt 1.9L with about 35,000 on the rebuild for
$500. What would
be involved in putting the smaller engine and making it work? I'm not sure
I can put up
with the lower hp or torque, but it'd be nice to have the van running again.
