Subject:Re: Fix Engine or Get New One?

Hey,
     I'm not a pessimist... just a realist. I've been
using this method of assessing vehicle for 20 year.
It had never let me down. Sorry to say your Vanagon
is shot. The only way you should keep it, is if you are
taking a personal interest, by do as much work
yourself as possible. Otherwise, sell this vanagon
and buy one in better condition. You will be
further ahead financally.

                                              Eric
