Sorry for the off topic, but I haven't found any up to date resources for opinions on the early 90's (the "squarish one") Isuzu Troopers, and was hoping there might be some Vanagon crossover ownership (those of us without Syncros) who might be kind enough to help. I'm looking at a 1990 Isuzu Trooper 4x4, 4 cyl, 5 speed. About 110K miles on it, relatively good shape for its age. Has AC (no cold air), cruise, PS, PB, no roof rack. Body is good, no rust (CA vehicle). Dealer has no idea when/if any major work done to it, or if timing belt has been changed (this is an interference engine, correct?). Anything I should look for that would be worrisome before I take it to a knowledgable mechanic? Hints, tips, advice appreciated. Please email me directly so as to not sully the list with OT responses. Thanks in advance! Scott diverseimaging@earthlink.net 82 Westy 68 sunroof Bug Boring Taurus company vehicle
