I always thought about this if it was my fault that my vehicle got damaged that my insurance co wouldn't cover the repairs. But even if someone's insurance was responsible they wouldn't pay either? What a rip. So I obviously don't have that coverage on my policies. If I bust up my bus, I have to fix it. >>> Aristotle Sagan <killer_jupiter@HOTMAIL.COM> 7/17/2003 1:23:27 PM >>> Well the problem is... What if you have a car that has few reciepts? The Toyota needed very little in 10 years of ownership. Oil, sparkplugs, brakes at 100k, a radiator. Less than a grand in total repair cost for the life of the truck. Of course, we don't have THAT problem with our Vanagons, do we? *L* Now the truck is totalled. I get 3500 bucks for it. Find me one for that money in that shape. Not in California. And you can do nada about it. tim (driving a Ferd now) > >A friend of mine said just that to her insurance company when her Nova was >totalled, they offered her $1200 for a car that had at least $10000 sunk >into >it.
