My kids called it the "hoop-dee". (sp?) Not sure of origin. Something
about a space-ship in a movie?

Subject: Re: Teenage Vanagon Drivers
Its funny to hear the reasons why insurance rates are so high they say
teenage drivers are the worst as statistics show but let me say we all see
drivers from age 17 To 90 driving to slow to fast ,no turn signals all
kinds of wild moves . I can ramble on about drivers my point is I have a 19
and 16 year old there are only a very few times I would let them drive my
van before , but now my policy requires them to be around 26 years old. My
19 year old has a honda civic that you cant beat. Most kids dont think the
vanagon is cool but we know dont we. I have heard of them call it the
scoobie do van like the cartoon. For now my kids wont be driving the van
anytime soon.
