I'm facing a major replacement of exhaust parts for my 85 Vanagon - probably everything from heads to tailpipe. Some Question for those who might have had actual experience with aftermarket systems: 1. Is it cost effective if you plan to keep the vehicle for another 5-7 years to invest in a stainless steel system such as a Stebro. Are they really better, are there any problems/issues with them? 2. Are there other brands that might be just as good or better? 3. I actually have a lifetime warranty on the current Walker muffler (now on the 3rd muffler), is there any reason not to mix stainless steeel pipes with a non-stainless muffler? Please send me personal mail with any experiences as I imagine this ground has been covered before. Experienced advice would be appreicated.
