When I bought a battery for my van at Wal Mart, it came with a little
L-shaped vent adapter to plug a hose into.  It's a sealed maintenance-free
battery and just has a round vent hole at one end.  I drive a diesel,
though, so the vent adapter was sort of unnecessary for my van. ;)
