After some suggestions from list members for mechanics in northern NH.. I decided to try one.  I had an oil leak from behind the oil filter... I got about half way there and the van started acting very strange.. I lost all power... Max speed was 55 and it was shaking and sputtering... .  I pulled over and took a look.  The engine was running real rough and fast.. like it was getting to much gas..  I continued along and made it to the garage.. 

any one have any thoughts on this one?  This is a new problem that I have never experienced before.
