Is there any reason why the 6-point bolts holding the
tranny on had really shallow heads?  My friend and i
ended up cutting about half the heads to reduce the
preload and then use vice grips...  Is there some
reason i can't replace them with standard hex head
bolts that won't strip?  If so, what kind of bolt is
recommended by all you gurus out there?
