I have an '86 Vanagon with Digifant injection.
The symptoms:

--Idles rough and runs fairly rough until fully warmed up.

--After an extended deceleration with tranny in gear, engine sometimes quits upon pushing in the clutch pedal.
OR
--After an extended deceleration with tranny in gear, engine coughs and sputters if you apply throttle to accelerate for a few seconds then smooths out again.

The throttle switch is set correctly i.e. it shuts off fuel when decelerating.

Any ideas?
