I am heading down to Aldamas Mexico again this coming weekend with my kids, a neighbor, and his two kids. We will be very remote and the night heat has me concerned.

Ideally I would like to find an reasonably quiet generator that will run a portable ac unit.

After reading the archives I am hesitant to start this up again. That said I was unable to find any specific recommendations. I saw some discussion of sub 20lb and quiet in the range of 60db. Anyone know of a particular brand or model that would work? I am going to go hunt down the peak power load of my 5000 btu ac.
