I'd get a new muffler from Bus Depot or one of the other list vendors.
They aren't *that* expensive, and a used one isn't likely to be in good
shape.  I have one of the Bus Depot ones, and it fits well and seems
fairly solid.  Hopefully whoever put on the muffler you have now didn't
cut up your downpipe.  Replace the rubber muffler mounts, too, unless
yours are in good shape.  There are three of them, and they tend to crack
and tear.  Vanagain.com has an excellent deal on these.

If you find a source, let me know...best I've seen is around $140, and
I've heard they're even easier to crumple than the original equipment
ones.  Junkyards just laugh at me when I ask if they have straight
bumpers.
