OK, you've found the archives, that's the best 1st step. Also in the archives you find that many people suggest that when buying a vanagon, to check the fuel lines. Your '89 is now 14 or so years old and so are the fuel lines (most likely). Vanagain.com sells a whole Kit for redoing the lines. Old lines and high pressure fuel pump is a recipe for disaster. If you have all of the papers, the check when all the fluids were changed, Tranny & engine oil, coolant (You said it has only had the good stuff, but when was it changed?) Synthetic engine & Tranny oil. New fuel filters (before and after the fuel pump). Wheels aligned & balanced. Clean the upholstery Re paint the van etc. Do you have any money left? m2cw Malcolm __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
