As many of you know, we have long offered two options for an '86-91
Vanagon 02 sensor: The stock Bosch one for $119, and a comparable Bosch
unit with a Ford style connector for $39.95. Most people buy the latter
one and splice their VW plug to it, rather than paying 3 times the price
for one that already has a VW plug on the end.

Well, for those who don't want to pay $119 for an oxygen sensor, but
want a faster/easier solution than going out and buying parts to make a
waterproof splice on the $39 sensor, we now have a third option: A Bosch
sensor that is pre-packaged by Bosch with an "official Bosch" waterproof
splicing kit. You cut the VW connector off of your old one, and use the
included parts to affix the old plug to your new sensor. Everything you
need is already in the Bosch box. The price is $56.95 (including your 5%
list discount).

Like the other two mentioned above, this is a three-wire sensor that
fits '86-up. Pre-'86 Vanagons use a single wire Bosch sensor (which we
sell for $29 without splicing kit).
