Subject:Running Hot
From:Steven Dodson

Hi all,

While doing the head on Inga last March, I replaced the cooling fan temp
switch.
The temp switch had not been working in low fan mode since I bought it,
causing it
to run a bit hot up hills (turned on the heater to compensate). After the
head job,
we drove her to Hood River, Oregon, a 1200mi trip, up and down lots of
hills.
Everything went fine. Recently the fan stopped running in low mode again.
What's the deal? Do these switches fail often or did I get a lemon?
Any suggestions, other than getting another new switch?
