On a number of occasions, when faced with a problem, I have searched the
archives and assembled all or parts of what appeared to be the best
posts on a subject.   Then I copy the text into a word processing file
and save it to my computer.

Often I send these to people who inquire about the problem, sometimes
sending a cc to the list so people will know I have the file, even
though the attachment is stripped by the list's software.

I would imagine that others have done the same thing.  I will be willing
to share these with you or the appropriate person in a collaborative effort.
