It just always amazes me that VW did not include an oil temp. gauge on all air cooled vans. Which, leads me to my question: What is the best oil temperature gauge setup for a 1980 2.0L vanagon? I live/drive by engine temp so much on my Diesel, that when I drive the gasoline powered Westy, I feel so "in the dark". Jon
