Oregon gas station attendants...

Being a native Oregonian and driving a Vanagon I find
no end of amusement in the Vanagon locking gas cap.
I've had these folks fumble around for several minutes
muttering obscenities under their breath trying to put
the thing back on :-)

There are also the few dumbfounded as to where the
"gas hole" is on my van... These people I guide
carefully, making slow deliberate movements so as not
to startle them (don't want to evoke their fight or
flight, they have a nasty bite and the shot series to
fight the infection from their periodontal disease is
brutal)

We have pump jockeys here for entertainment!  It's a
government-mandated service to me the consumer ;-)
