Howdy, Just returned to the list after a long absence. Family matters took me from my 91 westy refit. The latest dilemma is the front heater core. Removing the dash to access the core seems akin to open heart surgery..about eight hours worth. In reviewing the archives I find two 1997 vintage posts from Ken Wilfy and Dennis Haynes suggesting the core can be accessed by removing the glove box and cutting the side out of the heater housing. This sounds like a good alternative. What has been other's experience? I suppose a full heater box removal is justified if the fan motor needs replacement and the flap system needs rebuilding. Thanks in advance for everyone's input. Chris Hawkins Lost Nation, NH
