I pulled the transmission on my '88 today to fix a leaking rear main seal. In
the Bentley, page 13.41, and O-ring is shown, installed with flywheel after
the seal. Mine did not have this... should it? I see the o-ring listed at
Bowwow, so I wonder why they didn't sell me one with the seal...?
I've already put in the new seal - the old one looked ok, but was a bit stiff,
and came out much easier than expected (almost fell out...)
Of course the clutch disc is oil-soaked  :-( , but has lots of thickness left,
so I may try degreasing & re-installing. (the clutch was not slipping, just
starting to shudder the last month or so.)
