I just got a good used replacement instrument cluster
for my 91, but I want to put my existing speedo into
it as it has the low orig. mileage of the vehicle. It
looks like there is a blue plastic strip with multiple
electrical wires embedded in it attached to the back
of the speedo unit. Can I detach this plastic strip
safely, or will I ruin the thing if I try to do this?
