Subject:Setting the CO adjsut screw.

Is it possible to set the CO adjust screw on a new AFM properly without
a CO sniffer?  If you get it close but not exact somehow, what are the
possible adverse affects?  Just rougher running?  Couldn't you
theoretically tinker with it until you were getting a reasonably balance
of power and mileage?
