this tape is not like a mirro, but a matte surface that disperses the
light so it looks like a warm glow instead of an intense reflection. In
my line of work, we call 'reflection' such as this as Lambertian or
Diffuse reflection.  I put that stuff on my commute bicycle and it makes
the bike have a warm glow so cars see me, i hope.
