Entity John Schaper spoke thus: > Damage: radiator, steering squeeked > afterward, bumper, of course. That's it. That reminds me of a funny incident that happened when I was in New York. I'm at the Home Depot in Brooklyn and was approached by a real big city huckster who offered to repair a dent on location. To my astonishment he opened the trunk of his black Lincoln and pulled out a huge slide hammer and proceeded to screw it into the sheet metal talking all the while about how this was a miracle tool and this would be a cheap repair. Upon giving the slide the heave-ho, the screw broke off and HE FELL ON HIS ASS! The Vanagon of course was unfazed. I remember vividly how dumbfounded he was that my old van had made a liar out of him. Needless to say he didn't get his money. -- Gnarlie http://www.Gnarlodious.com/Vanagon/Vanagon.html
