I posted a question about a headlight switch the other day for my 87 Syncro
Westy.

Today, I think I received my official initiation into the Vanagon Club.

I sent the vendor a message - should I use the 251-941-531M they recommend
instead of the 251-941-531K that I pulled out of my van after I had placed
the order.

I did not get a response to the email message. Instead, today I received a
switch - model No. 321-941-531D.

It feels like kind of a defining moment. I had been a bit disappointed when
I traveled 4,500 miles with only minor mechanical excitement on a loopy
route from the Westy's old homer in Oregon to its new home in Maine<g>.
