I saw a blue (recenlty painted non-factory color) 83 or 84 Vanagon in Santa
Monica this morning with a huge engine in it. I mean huge, like the rear was
jacked up about 3 inches to allow the oil pan of the engine to have about 4"
clearance from the ground. Anyone own it or know what the powerplant is? It has
what look like Datsun Z  rear alloy wheels--or is it Nissan Z--Did Nissan make
a Z? Anyway the wheels had a "Z" in the middle.

At anyrate it was intriuging.
