I had the old battery and the same alternator checked at Napa with some
meter
they have.  It showed the battery was borderline bad.  It went real bad
later in
less than a week.  I'll check again.  Maybe I have an intermittant
problem.

I only drive my van when going on trips or a Sunday drive so it sits

weeks at a time and I don't have any problem with my battery.. have

My son's white 84 is a battery killer.  It may be that we just haven't
been running it enough.
We put in a new radiator yesterday and that went fine.  The battery
was
low again.  It's a
brand new battery.  When the old one failed I checked the voltage with
the engine runnging
and it was higher than with the engine off.  So does that mean it's
charging?  We'll make an
effort to drive the bus every couple days for at least 15 -30minutes
at
a time and see if the
battery holds.  Another question, the whole alternator wobbles forward
and back some.
I don't notice anything like that in the other busses.  I didn't see
anything different in the brackets.
